A man has been arrested by police following a suspicious house fire in Reservoir on Thursday night (July 20).
Emergency services were called after two residents of the Kinsale St home, were woken by smoke alarms about 11.45pm.
They noticed smoke and flames and made their way outside where they found another one of the residents.
Local Police and detectives attended the scene and spoke to the residents before a 38-year-old man was arrested.
He was interviewed by Police and has been released pending further enquiries.
The area has been cordoned off and was under police guard.
It was expected detectives and an arson chemist were to attend the scene on Friday (July 21).
