A new recreation reserve at Botanic Ridge was officially opened by the City of Casey last Wednesday (July 19).
Casey Council’s Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff and Chief Executive Officer Glenn Patterson were joined by Cranbourne MLA Pauline Richards to open Booring Recreation Reserve.
Members of Devon Meadows Junior Football Club, Devon Meadows Football Netball Club and Devon Meadows Cricket Club, who now call the new recreation reserve home, were also in attendance.
There is a multi-use community pavilion, which includes:
• Six changerooms
• Six unisex amenity areas, including three showers
• Two unisex umpires rooms
• A multi-purpose community space
• Public toilets
• First aid room
• Canteen
• Storerooms
• An undercover spectator area.
