SOUTH-EAST: Five people charged

Five people have been charged after they allegedly tried to evade Police in two stolen vehicles on Thursday, January 11.
The stolen Mercedes and BMW were observed in the Endeavour Hills area around 8.20am and were monitored by the Air Wing.
The vehicles travelled through multiple suburbs and stop sticks were used in Camberwell and Glen Waverley.
The BMW was subsequently dumped on Sanday St in Glen Waverley and the occupants got into the Mercedes sedan and took off again.
The Mercedes was followed by police to Heathmere Crescent in Endeavour Hills where all five occupants attempted to flee on foot but were arrested a short time later.
A 20-year-old Frankston man was charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle and remanded to face Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on January 12.
A 17-year-old Doveton male was charged with home invasion and two counts of theft of motor vehicle.
A 17-year-old Cranbourne North male was charged with robbery and four counts of theft of motor vehicle.
A 17-year-old Narre Warren male was charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, bail offences, unlicensed driving, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, drive in a manner dangerous and other driving offences.
A 16-year-old Dandenong male was charged with aggravated burglary, five counts of theft of motor vehicle and handle stolen goods.
All the teenagers will face a childrens court at a later date.
