PORT PHILLIP: Drug trafficking at St Kilda

Three men have been charged following an investigation into the trafficking of drugs in St Kilda.
The Prahran Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Lynott St, St Kilda, just before 7am on Monday last week (Sep. 16).
During a search of the property, police uncovered a range of illicit drugs and prescription medication, including quantities of:
• Methylamphetamine
• Cocaine
• 1,4 Butanediol
• Ecstasy
• Vials of testosterone
• Vials of steroids
• Vials of a white powder which will undergo further analysis
• Xanax
• Pain medication
Police also seized cash, several fraudulent identification cards bearing a false name, as well as two mobile phones and a laptop.
Three men were arrested at the property:
• A 45-year-old St Kilda man was charged with trafficking methylamphetamine and 1,4 Butanediol, and possessing methyl-amphetamine, 1,4 Butanediol, cocaine, ecstasy, possess prescription medication without a prescription, and four counts of possessing a Schedule 11 poison. He was also charged with negligently deal with proceeds of crime, handle stolen goods, use false document, and make false document. It will be alleged he had been regularly trafficking drugs of dependence throughout the local area for the majority of this year.
• A 35-year-old St Kilda man was charged with possessing methylamphetamine, 1,4 Butanediol, ecstasy, and three counts of possessing a Schedule 11 poison.
• A 39-year-old man was charged with possessing methylamphetamine and 1,4 Butanediol.
The trio was bailed to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 5.
