Greensborough Highway Patrol officers impounded a car being driven by a P-plater with a suspended licence in Reservoir last Tuesday morning (Oct. 1).
Officers first spotted the grey Nissan Maxima travelling on Plenty Rd with no headlights, about 12.20am.
The car was intercepted and the suspended p-plate driver, a 20-year-old Greensborough man, underwent a preliminary breath test.
The Greensborough man returned an alleged evidentiary reading of .15.
The vehicle was impounded for 30 days with a total cost of $999.52.
He is expected to be charged with drink driving and other traffic offences.
