Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of another man in Melbourne’s CBD.
It is alleged that a 44-year-old Seddon man was struck to the head by another man, whilst walking on Elizabeth St around 6.30pm on Wednesday, October 9.
The Seddon man sustained significant head injuries and was conveyed to hospital in a critical condition, where he died on October 12.
A 33-year-old man of no fixed place of address was arrested at a boarding house in Moonee Ponds.
He was charged with manslaughter and remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
