Police and emergency servicescrews were at the scene of a fatal collision in Pakenham on Thursday (Nov. 21).
It is believed a silver Audi and a Subaru station wagon collided on the Princes Hwy near Windermere Boulevard just after 4pm.
The Audi then rolled and struck nearby trees and a power pole.
A teenage boy, who was the front seat passenger of the Audi, was transported to hospital where he died.
The driver of the Audi, a teenage boy, was transported to hospital in a critical condition.
The rear seat passenger of the Audi, a teenage boy, was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the Subaru was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating reports the Audi was seen driving erratically on the Princess Hwy prior to the collision.
