PORT PHILLIP: Fire at Port Melb. – woman wanted
Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fire at a business in Port Melbourne.
Emergency services were called to Salmon St about 8.40pm on January 4after reports of a fire.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze which is being treated as suspicious. No one was injured during the incident.
A woman was seen walking towards the fire just prior to it being ignited and leaving the area on foot once the fire was well alight.
She is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, 25-45-years-old, blonde hair, slim to medium build and was carrying a white bucket.
Investigators have released footage and an image of a woman seen on the side of Westgate Freeway, near Todd Rd, at 8.34pm.
