PORT PHILLIP: Prejudice graffiti
Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following reports of prejudice motivated graffiti on a property fence in Middle Park on January 31.
It is alleged a passerby approached the male offender and was spat on and had a packet of bacon thrown at him.
A 68-year-old man was arrested in Macedon on Tuesday last week (Feb. 4).
The Macedon man was charged with criminal damage, unlawful assault and mark offensive graffiti.
He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on May 6.
