CASEY: Pearcedale’s new pavilion opens
Pearcedale Recreation Reserve is now home to a new pavilion and netball courts, following an extensive redevelopment project.
State Minister Harriet Shing last week joined Bass MLA Jordan Crugnale. Cranbourne Gardens Ward’s Cr Michelle Crowther and Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen for the opening, attended by members of the Pearcedale Football Netball Club, Pearcedale Netball Club, Pearcedale Cricket Club and Pearcedale Baxter Junior Football Club.
“The Pearcedale Recreation Reserve has always been the heart of the local community, a place where generations have gathered to play, celebrate, and connect with each other,” Cr Koomen said.
Casey Council contributed $2.4 million towards the pavilion.
