The public is to be locked out from personally attending tonight’s controversial meeting of Whittlesea Council at 6pm. The public will be able to only view the meeting at the Council’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/playlist…

A crowd of ratepayers is expected to gather outside the South Morang headquarters of the Council from about 5.30pm. Mayor Cr Aidan McLindon , accompanied by his legal representative, is expected to deliver a statement, which is likely to include a call for Council CEO Craig Lloyd and monitors Peita Duncan and Jude Munro to stand aside.

In a secret letter, with explicit instructions that it is not be made available to the ratepayers and residents, Mr Lloyd has banned the Mayor from attending the Council meeting in person.
