BASS COAST: Death at Cowes
Detectives from the Homicide Squad are investigating following the discovery of a man’s body at a property in Cowes on Monday morning (Apr. 7).
Officers were called to the home, at the intersection of Church St and Justice Rd about 10.20am.
A man, believed to be aged in his 80s, was located deceased.
The death is being treated as suspicious.
A man, believed to be aged in his 50s, who was found with suspected self-inflicted injuries in Ventnor earlier, and wastaken to hospital under police guard.
It appears at this stage, the people involved are known to one another.
Exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined.
