FRANKSTON: Grab a pollie, with sauce
Frankston City residents are invited to enjoy a sausage in bread and a conversation with their elected representatives at a special Pollies BBQ community event from 11am-1.30pm on Saturday, November 15, at Ballam Park.
Frankston Mayor Cr Kris Bolam and Councillors will be joined by Dunkley MHR Jodie Belyea (pictured) and Frankston MLA Paul Edbrooke. All three levels of government will be in one place – giving locals a rare opportunity to meet their leaders, ask questions, share feedback and talk about the issues that matter most.
Frankston City is unique in being represented by one federal electorate and three state electorates:
• Dunkley (federal) – covering all of Frankston City.
• Frankston (state) – encompassing Frankston, Frankston South, Frankston North, Karingal and parts of Seaford.
• Carrum (state) – including parts of Seaford and Carrum Downs.
• Hastings (state) – encompassing Lang-warrin and Langwarrin South.
“This means residents across Frankston City have multiple representatives across different tiers of government, and the Pollies BBQ is a rare opportunity to see many of them in one place, working together for the community.”
