MARIBYRNONG: Aggravated burglary at Footscray
Footscray police arrested a man after an aggravated burglary.
Officers responded to reports of an aggravated burglary at an address on Barkly St at 12.22am on Tuesday (Oct. 21).
Within six minutes, Footscray officers were on scene.
With assistance from a canine unit a man was arrested a short time later nearby the victims address.
Police seized a laptop allegedly stolen from the aggravated burglary.
It is alleged the offender smashed a window to unlock the back door and enter the premises.
Two residents home at the time were not physically injured.
A 32-year-old St Albans man will be interviewed by investigators.
