MELTON: $55 million for Kangan Institute

State Minister Colin Brooks (pictured) last week unveiled the first look at designs for the new $55 million Kangan Institute campus in Melton.
The world-class training facility is close to where thousands of Victorians live.
The new campus will open in 2028.
It will revolutionise vocational education in the west and deliver training to around 800 students per year. The campus will be near the railway station, close to schools and the future hospital.
It will include workshops for construction, gas fitting, welding, refrigeration and plumbing.
There will also be an emerging technologies lab and a cybersecurity simulation space., said a State Government representative.
