MANNINGHAM: Pride at Jumping Creek Rd upgrade
Upgraded footpaths, safer road conditions, and strong environmental protections are some of the major improvements Manningham Council says that it has delivered for the community as part of the Jumping Creek Rd upgrade. at Warran-dyte.
Manningham Mayor, Cr Jim Grivas (pictured), said the upgrade of the corridor would achieve safe, sustainable and functional infrastructure while protecting the surrounding environment.
“This project isn’t just about upgrading a road – it’s about protecting and enhancing the natural environment that surrounds Jumping Creek Rd and makes the area so special,” Cr Grivas said.
“From wildlife crossings to indigenous planting, we’re delivering improvements that support our community while protecting our local ecosystem for years to come.
“We’re also improving access for pedestrians and cyclists, with four kilometres of footpaths upgraded between the Warrandyte roundabout and Homestead Rd. More than 800 drainage systems have been installed” Cr Grivas said.
