DAREBIN: Preston rider dies
A man died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle in Preston on Thursday evening (July 16).
It is understood the rider was travelling south on High St when he collided with a vehicle turning from Gower St into High St about 6.40pm.
The rider, a man in his 60s, was treated at the scene by paramedics but died en route to hospital.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mercedes, a 53-year-old Preston man, remained at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
