WHITTLESEA: First-timer as CEO
Dan Hogan (pictured) – a local government executive with a history of middle level manager jobs at Melton, Brimbank and Kingston Councils – will become the next CEO of the City of Whittlesea.
Mr Hogan starts at Whittlesea on Tuesday, September 1. This will be his first time as a CEO.
Mr Hogan has most recently been the General Manager, Customer and Corporate Support at the City of Kingston, based at Moorabbin.
Mr Hogan spent six years at the City of Melton, rising to Manager of Engagement and Advocacy.
At Brimbank for four years, he was Director of Advocacy, Partnerships and Community Engagement
Mr Hogan replaces Craig Lloyd, who moved to Joondalup, Western Australia, earlier this year.
Whittlesea Mayor Cr Lawrie Cox said: “The appointment of Dan Hogan marks an exciting new chapter for the City of Whittlesea.

“I also thank Debbie Wood, Director of Infrastructure and Environment, for her outstanding leadership as Acting Chief Executive Officer. Her strategic and collaborative approach has ensured a smooth transition as we welcome our new CEO.”
