Debut single
Local singer songwriter Lauren Kirley will release her debut single on October 2 at the Angry Dog Hotel, West Melbourne. The track is described as a little bit of country mixed with some pop and rock. The night will feature a mix of original songs and covers plus some merchandise and hopefully some space for a dance. It’s just a night to celebrate my new release, Lauren says.
Dale Duncan
The Grit of the Ghan is the first song release for Dale Duncan after a six-year absence. Dale says: “It reminds us of some forgotten Australian history, bringing insight into the resilience, strength and the grit of the camel drivers or cameleers who worked in the Australian outback from the 1860s to 1930s, also known as ‘Ghans’.”
