OVBSERVER: Hey there, Georgy Girl
Dedicated hard work has resulted in a double dream coming true for talented Melbourne-based singer, performer, actor and vocal coach Stephanie Angelini.
Firstly, she is starring in her dream role portraying Judith Durham in Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical, being presented by Beaumaris Theatre. Secondly, the show’s complete season is sold out with a waiting list.
Stephanie says: “It’s truly exciting and a thrill to know we’ll be performing to a full house every show. Every performer’s dream.”
The sell-out season is, however, not surprising to Stephanie, who points out that “The Seekers hold a pivotal and timeless place in our Australian and international music scene and are still very much adored and loved by many all over the world.”
For over 15 years, Stephanie has performed as a soloist and band vocalist at various public and private events, and released her own original music, travelling to Los Angeles to record her debut album Life Lessons.
She is also founding director and vocal coach at the Angelini Vocal Academy.
Stephanie regards it as a ‘true honour’ to be bringing one of her musical icons to life.
Congratulations, Stephanie.
