Frankston Council says it awaits “a thorough understanding of the rationale behind the Victorian Government’s introduction of the interim planning controls, announced by Minister [Sonya] Kilkenny over part of the Frankston Metropolitan Activity Centre Structure Plan area”.
The Council says it wants to know what implications they may have for the future authorisation of the FMAC Structure Plan, Planning Scheme Amendment.
Mayor Cr Nathan Conroy said the area has been recognised by the Victorian Government as a crucial city centre dedicated to providing a wide range of jobs, activities, and housing for the growing population.
