YARRA: Armed robbers at Rushall

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery on bus route 250 at Rushall.
It is understood a teenager was waiting for the 250 bus in the vicinity of Rushall railway station in North Fitzroy when he was approached by two unknown males about 2.05am on Sunday, March 26. Police were told the teenager and males boarded the bus, before the males seated themselves next to the teenager. As the bus began to leave the bus stop, the teenager felt what he thought was a weapon press against his ribs.
Police were told the pair demanded the victims iPhone, fleeced jumper, and his shoes.
Officers believe the offenders got off the bus at the Park St/Rathdowne St bus stop in North Carlton North about 2.11am.
The victim, who was 17-years-old at the time of the incident, wasn’t physically injured.
The first male is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, approximately 182cms tall and of slim build.
He was seen wearing a blue jumper, a white puffer jacket and black runners.
The second male is perceived to be African in appearance, approximately 152cms tall and of slim build.
He was seen wearing a black puffer jacket, white runners and camouflage patterned pants.
