Friday, July 21, 2023
A black Holden Commodore, which was allegedly stolen overnight, was tracked in Melbourne’s north-east about 2.50pm Friday (July 21).
With assistance from the Air Wing, the vehicle was followed through Chadstone.
Police attempted to intercept the car on Punt Rd before it allegedly sped off.
It is alleged the occupants dumped the car at a fast-food restaurant car park on Canterbury Rd in Blackburn South.
They fled the scene in a waiting black utility, which was allegedly stolen.
The utility was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Orchard Grove.
There were no injuries, and the black utility did not stop at the scene.
Three men got out of the utility on Fulton Rd in Blackburn South and fled the scene on foot.
A 36-year-old Dandenong man got onto a bus where he was arrested.
A 24-year-old Doveton man and a 31-year-old Burwood man entered a property on Fulton Rd and were arrested a short time later.
The three men were assisting police with their enquiries.
