BANYULE: Stalking alleged at hospital
Mernda Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team investigators have charged a man following an incident at a medical facility in Heidelberg.
A recording device was allegedly located in a restricted staff toilet of a medical facility on Thursday, July 3.
The device, a mobile phone, is alleged to have been in place for some time before staff became aware and reported the matter to police.
Police executed a warrant at an address in West Heidelberg on Thursday morning (July 10).
A 27-year-old West Heidelberg man was arrested and interviewed by detectives.
He was charged with stalking and use optical surveillance device.
He was bailed to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on August 29.
