Hundreds of people flocked to the Yea History and Heritage Exhibition staged at the Yea Shire Hall at the weekend. Pictured are Tina Gorman and Joan Canning.

The exhibition was staged by members of the Yea and District Historical Society. Items included the wedding dresses collection of Val Borrie, militaria displayed by Paul Bannan, vintage radios and phones by Frank Philp, plus many Yea district items held by the Society.

The Society’s military collection included press clippings from World War I, World War II and other conflicts. The local schools display saw memorabilia from Woodbourne, Ghin Ghin, Cheviot/Limestone, Killingworth, Homewood, Sacred Heart, Yea Pre-School and other locations.
