Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was left fighting for his life following a crash in Cranbourne on Sunday morning, Jan. 28.
Investigators believe the driver of a Holden sedan was travelling south on Lesdon Avenue when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree just after 6am.
The learner driver, a man aged in his 20s, sustained minor injuries. He was assisting police with their enquiries.
The passenger, also believed aged in his 20s, was transported to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Detectives from MCIU are appealing for witnesses and are on scene and investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
