A 57-year-old Eden Park man, and a 59-year-old Yarra Glen man, have been arrested following an investigation into alleged fraud involving fraudulent builders’ licences.

Fraud and Extortion Squad detectives have arrested 10 men this week Detectives executed a number of warrants at eight business addresses, 13 residential addresses across Melbourne and a Sydney address over the past week.

The offences are alleged to have occurred throughout Victoria between 2013 and 2015.

Ten men were arrested and their details are –

57-year-old from Eden Park

70-year-old from Coolaroo

59-year-old from Yarra Glen

41-year-old from Ivanhoe

40-year-old from Keilor

43-year-old from Strathmore

46-year-old from Melton

54-year-old from Werribee

55-year-old Gisborne

45-year-old from Ascot Vale

They have all been released pending further enquiries and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police have been liaising with a number of other agencies in relation to the investigation including the Victorian Building Authority and other policing jurisdictions.
