WYNDHAM: Man disrupts train services


Police have charged a man after he allegedly deliberately disrupted train services on the Werribee Line.
Reports said that a man had caused train services to stop through various means since March.
A 55-year-old man was arrested when investigators executed a search warrant at his Hoppers Crossing residence on Tuesday (Aug.12). He has bailed to face Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on September 9.
Among the reported incidents included a man allegedly running out in front of trains, hitting golf balls at trains, throwing objects at trains, shining lasers at trains and walking along the tracks.
