On a day where temperatures have reached low 30°s, there have been at least three fires in or around The Local Paper readership area:

• KINGLAKE. Fire reported late this afternoon at Edward Staff Drive, Kinglake. Three local units are attending.

• DOREEN. A fire has been reported at Hoban Court, Doreen. Five emergency vehicle are responding.

• CAMBARVILLE. Twenty firefighters are at Cambarville, south east of Camberville, Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required, says Emergency Victoria.
