PORT PHILLIP: Gym fire at South Melbourne
Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a suspicious fire in South Melbourne on Tuesday morning, June 16.
It is believed a white vehicle rammed the rolled door of a gym on Montague St about 3.50am.
No one was inside the building at the time of the incident.
Police were told the offender/s lit a fire inside, then fled in the vehicle.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.
