We have a special photo-feature about the Kinglake Football-Netball Club in the next issue (Wed., May 23) of The Local Paper.
The footy flashback dates back to 1990 when the Lakers re-formed after a 10-year hiatus.
The multi-page feature shows the jumper presentation on that historic night held at Lawsons Restaurant (Kinglake Hotel), with major sponsor Alister Payne supporting coach Noel McAuliffe and the team.
This is the first time these photos have been published in colour. The night, held 28 years ago, preceded the Lakers first game in the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League Second Division, against Panton Hill.
