OBSERVER: The 39 Steps

Strathmore Theatrical Arts Group (STAG) presents The 39 Steps from November 12-21 at the Strathmore Community Theatre, Loeman St, Strathmore.
Written by Patrick Barlow and John Buchan, STAG’s production of The 39 Steps is directed by George Benca.
The show is described as ‘mixing a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, with an added dash of Monty Python – and you have the intriguing, thrilling, riotous and unmissable comedy.’
The story tells of a notorious fugitive and a spellbound blonde from a London music hall, ‘hurtling’ north by northwest to Scotland’s most remote highlands. Will they save Britain from a den of devious spies?
A small cast of actors play over 150 characters in this fast-paced tale of an ordinary man on an extraordinarily entertaining mission.
Performance Season: November 12 – 21
Venue: Strathmore Community Theatre, Loeman St, Strathmore
