MERRI-BEK: Aggravated burglary in Oak Park
Merri-Bek Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Oak Park.
It is believed an offender gained entry to the Devereaux S residence, stealing cash and the garage remote on Monday, February10, about 2am.
The offender exited via the garage and drove off in a Subaru Forester.
It is believed the offender returned to the residence on Wednesday, February 12, but were unable to gain entry.
Investigators have released CCTV footage and an image of a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.
The offender is described as Caucasian, about 30-35 years old, 180cm tall with a medium build, unshaven facial hair and wearing a light-coloured hoodie and dark pants.
He also appears to be sporting a neck tattoo and a long rats tail.
