Michelle Dunscombe, Independent candidate for Eildon

Indpendent Eildon candidate Michelle Dunscombe has been praised in Federal Parliament by Indi MHR Cathy McGowan.

Ms McGowan congratulated the independent candidates who stood for local seats in last week’s State Election.

As at Wednesday (Nov. 28), Ms Dunscombe had secured 1942 first preference votes (5.42 per cent) of the 35,799 formal votes cast. A re-check count is currently being undertaken for the Eildon seat. Liberal Cindy McLeish leads.
