A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Jamieson early this morning (Friday).

It is believed the 4WD was travelling along a dirt track near Eildon-Jameson Rd when it left the roadway and rolled down a hill just after 1am.

The driver, a 34-year-old Frankston North man, died at the scene.

Two teenage male passengers were unharmed.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
