Bonnie Doon Bridge - with considerable water underneath

The Rotary Clubs of Alexandra and Yea will again combine for the Cycle Dindi event in 2019 – to be held on Saturday, April 6, on the first weekend of the school holdiays.

The event will again be held on the Great Victorian Rail Trail, centered on the Yea and Yarck townships. There will also be an opportunity to ride across the historic Bonnie Doon bridge.

A variety of segments will be available including Yea to Cathkin, Yarck and Bonnie Doon, as well as Doon-Cathkin. Various prices – which include lunch at Cathkin, plus damper and billy tea at Kanumbra – apply. Concession prices are available for school age children, seniors and groups. Proceeds go towards Rotary youth projects. Registrations open this month (Jan.).

Participants can visit a working farm, with devonshire tea available in the shearing shed, as well as a sheep dog demonstration and trailer ride.
