Peak-hour chaos on Hurstbridge line

Hurstbridge line train commuters will have a longer than expected journey home tonight (Tues.)
A person has been hit by a train on the Hurstbridge line, with delays of up to two hours as buses replace trains between Clifton Hill and Heidelberg.
Metro Trains is urging passengers to consider other transport options as the wait time for replacement buses at Clifton Hill stretches over an hour.
The Herald Sun reports: Metro Trains says there are 13 replacement buses in operation while another 36 buses are caught up in traffic congestion on their way to Clifton Hill railway station.
