A body was discovered near a Bundoora shopping centre at about 7am this morning (Wed)..

Police were called to the Polaris Town Shopping Centre on Main Drive, near Plenty Rd.

The Herald Sun reports that Homicide squad detectives have arrived at the scene, with dozens of police combing for evidence near a carpark entrance.

“A police spokeswoman said detectives are yet to formally identify the body and the circumstances surrounding the death are not yet known,” said reporter Ryan Tennison.

“Details of the death remain unclear.”
