Emergency services attended the scene of a fatal motorbike crash in Diamond Creek this afternoon (Sunday).

It is believed the motorcyclist was travelling along Ironbark Rd when the bike veered off the road and over an embankment just after 1pm.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The cause of the crash is yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.

Road closures were in place at Ironbark Rd from Broad Gully Road to Black Gully Rd, Victoria Police said.
