Thunderstorms have created a number of incidents across the region

Kinglake West CFA personnel are turning out a fire reported in the Beale Ave-O’Deas Rd area at Kinglake Central.

Emergency Victoria reportedly received a call from a citizen who noticed a fire about two kilometres west of the Frank Thomson Reserve.

There is a report of a tree fire at Chadds Creek Rd, Strathewen, with the Kinglake CFA tanker attending.



Another fire has been reported near the power lines on the Melba Hwy, south of Glenburn. Toolangi CFA are attending a reported fire at Glenwood Dr, Castella.

There are multiple reports of trees down on the Yea-Whittlesea Rd, Flowerdale. Another tree down is reported between Junction Hill and Dairy Creek Rd, with a third tree down at Break-O’-Day Rd.

In other news, a road accident has been reported at the corner of Goulburn Valley Hwy and King Parrot Creek Rd, Kerrisdale.
