An Eildon man will appear in court this morning charged with one count of manslaughter following the death of a man in Eildon in 2017, Victoria Police advises.

The 19-year-old was arrested by Homicide Squad detectives in Eildon this morning (Friday).

The charges follow an investigation into a physical altercation outside a licensed premise on Goulburn Valley Highway just before midnight, Friday October 20, 2017.

A 51-year-old Frankston man died following the incident.

The teen will appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court today (Fri.).
