MAROONDAH: Fatality at Croydon
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Croydon last Thursday morning (Mar. 27).
It is understood a white utility and a motorcyclist collided at the intersection of Vinter Avenue and Bayswater Rd about 11.40am.
The rider, a 28-year-old Bayswater woman died at the scene.
The driver of the utility, a 39-year-old Boronia woman, stopped at the scene and was spoken to by detectives.
Exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time of the collision.
