Murrindindi Council has issued a refusal to grant a permit for the use and development of land at 500 Spring Creek Rd, Fawcett, for the purpose of a dwelling.

The motion was carried unanimously by the seven councillors at the meeting held on January 22.

At the meeting, Angelina Bell spoke in favour of use and development of the land for a dwelling, and on the motion of Crs Charlie Bissett and Jackie Ashe, was granted a 10-minute extension to speak to Councillors.
