MONASH: Clayton drug bust, woman arrested

Police arrested and charged a woman on Friday following the seizure of a number of cannabis plants in Clayton South.
As part of an ongoing drug investigation investigators executed a search warrant in Orloff Close uncovering an alleged cannabis hydroponic set-up about 12.30pm.
More than 90 cannabis plants were seized along with an amount of alleged dried cannabis with a street value over $120,000.
The 22-year-old Vietnamese national was charged with traffick and cultivate a commercial amount of cannabis and theft of electricity.
The woman was set to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for a remand application this on Friday evening.
