Mitchell Shire Council is hosting two virtual environmental workshops in February.

The online educational sessions are free, and will help improve environmental expertise from home.

The first workshop is ‘All you need to know about solar and batteries’ and will be held on Wednesday, February 2, between 6.30pm and 8pm.

Run in conjunction with the Australian Energy Foundation, the webinar will help people to work out whether solar and batteries are right for their home.

The second workshop is ‘Climate action through gardening’ and will be held on Wednesda, February 16, between 7pm and 8.30pm.

Led by Sustainable Gardening Australia, this workshop will cover a range of topics including how the garden can be used to reduce your impact and adapt to a changing climate.
