A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Sunshine on Saturday night (Oct. 2).
Police have been told the man appeared to walk out onto Ballarat Rd, near the intersection of Anderson Rd, when he was struck by a passing motorist shortly before 8.30pm. The man died at the scene.
The 42-year-old female driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene to render assistance. Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
