Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Heidelberg West on Sunday (Oct. 16).

Emergency services were called to North Crescent just after 3.30pm following reports a man had been stabbed.

The man was attended by paramedics but he died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and no arrests have been made at this stage.
