BRIMBANK: Drugs seized in St Albans raid, 11 charged

Brimbank Divisional Response Unit officers, Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit and Caroline Springs Offender Management Team charged 11 people after executing two search warrants in St Albans on Tuesday last week (June 27).
The search warrants were executed shortly after 8am at properties in Percy St and Rosslare Pde, St Albans as part of an investigation into alleged drug activity.
Drugs were seized, including heroin, methamphetamine, ketamine, prescription medication as well as a quantity of cash and prohibited weapons including a taser and stolen registration plates.
Two St Albans men aged 58 and 43 were both charged with possess drug of dependence and both bailed to the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on November 17.
A 47-year-old Heidelberg West woman was charged with possess drug of dependence and bailed to the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on August 28.
A 57-year-old Albion man was arrested on outstanding warrants and bailed to the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on August 25.
A 51-year-old St Albans woman was arrested and is expected to be charged on summons with drug and weapons offences.
A 46-year-old Sunbury man was charged with possess a drug of dependence and property suspected to be proceeds of crime and appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
A 44-year-old Mitcham man was charged with failing to appear on bail and appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
A 34-year-old Braybrook man was charged with theft and obtain property by deception. He was remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on June 28.
A 52-year-old Reservoir man was charged with failing to answer bail and was bailed to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on August 1.
A 32-year-old St Albans man was charged with possess a drug of dependence and weapons offences. He was remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on July 11.
A 37-year-old Sunshine West man was arrested on warrant and bailed to the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on September 13.
