$7.7 million for Nillumbik projects

The Andrews Labor Government will deliver $7.7 million in grants for community infrastructure projects across Nillumbik Shire through its Growing Suburbs Fund, according to a media release. Many successes at Yea Show

Caitlin Mannix won the best bird award at the Yea Show today (Sat., Nov. 25). The Local Paper will have several pages of photos in the next issue on Wed., Nov. 29.

Sad news: passing of Pat Carter

Yea is buzzing with sad news of the passing of Pat Carter. Pat and her family came to Yea from Wallacedale (Western District, Victoria) about 1946, maybe earlier. She retired about 2001, maybe later. More in the next issue of The Local Paper.
