Caitlin Mannix won the best bird award at the Yea Show today (Sat., Nov. 25). The Local Paper will have several pages of photos in the next issue on Wed., Nov. 29.
Yea is buzzing with sad news of the passing of Pat Carter. Pat and her family came to Yea from Wallacedale (Western District, Victoria) about 1946, maybe earlier. She retired about 2001, maybe later. More in the next issue of The Local Paper.
