Two fires have been reported this afternoon (Fri.) at Maintongoon, near Bonnie Doon and Woodfield. One fire is reported at the Maintongoon Bush Reserve, the other nearby in Woolshed Rd, Woodfield. Three local CFA brigades are attending.
Emergency Victoria this afternoon (Fri.) describes a fire, 8kms north-west of Jamieson, as “safe”. Over recent weeks there have been a number of fires in the Jamieson-Howqua region.
11AM FRI.: A one-hectare fire, 8-kms north-east of Lake Mountain, in the Rubicon region, has been described by Emergency Victoria as “safe”.
FRI. 11AM: Emergency services are responding to a road accident report on Heidelberg-Kinglake Rd, between St Andrews North and Kinglake.
